We recognize that every child is unique, with their own personality and creativity, and we will help nurture these traits so each child can reach their full potential. Our mission is to provide the support your child needs, because we all know that it truly takes a village.
From Our Owners:
It Takes a Village Child Care opened in 2019 and is excited to serve communities throughout New Hampshire. We have a passion for learning and love for children. Before starting this adventure of expanding throughout New Hampshire, Maranda was a high school math teacher and Mike was a civil engineer. Now, Maranda balances teaching with supporting each center as Mike has evolved into It Takes a Village's go-to maintenance man and the kids' favorite classroom guest. This has been a whirlwind experience, as we have committed to expanding and helping our village grow. Like all of you, when we are not working, we spend as much time as possible with our family. We have two amazing kiddos and get to raise them in the small town we grew up in.

Our centers are safe, clean, and designed to provide the best environment for your child. Rather than keeping children indoors all day, we ensure that each age group gets the opportunity to go outside and enjoy fun activities throughout the day. Inside, each room is thoughtfully crafted to focus on different activities that promote physical, mental, emotional, and social development, all tailored to the specific needs of each age group.

What Our Families are Saying
Our daughter has been enrolled at It Takes a Village for almost a year now and we have truly loved it. I was very worried about sending her to daycare as she spent her first year home with me but the teachers have been so wonderful to her. The kids play outside all day if the weather is nice and if they are inside they are doing adorable crafts. It truly feels as though trusted family members are watching our child. We would highly recommend It Takes a Village.
