It Takes a Village opened in 2019 with a simple goal: to create the kind of childcare families could trust and children could feel at home in.
Before starting ITAV, Maranda was a high school math teacher and Mike was a civil engineer. Together, they brought their love for children, family, problem-solving, and community into a childcare center built around care, play, and connection.
As the village has grown, their family-centered approach has stayed the same. Maranda continues to support the centers and classrooms, and Mike has become the go-to maintenance helper and a favorite classroom guest.
Like many of the families we serve, we're raising our own children here in New Hampshire. We know how much trust it takes to choose childcare, and we're grateful for the chance to be part of each family's village.
